  • 9:30 am - 11:15 am: Session I, Choice A
    Our Military and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
    Dr. Bridget C. Cantrell highlights the causes and symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) as it impacts our Marines. Informative slide show to accompany presentation.

  • 9:30 am - 11:15 am: Session I, Choice B
    Marine Family Scrapbooking
    Designed for experienced scrapbookers and first time scrappers alike. Relax and enjoy sharing your ideas and photos with other Marine families.

  • 11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Lunch with Honored Guest
    Meet Bronze Star recipient Sergeant Eddie Wright
    Meet Marine veteran and Bronze Star recipient James “Eddie” Wright who lost both hands in combat and went on to become a Marine Corps hand-to-hand combat instructor.

  • 1:15 pm - 4:00 pm: Session II, Choice A
    Post Traumatic Stress and Combat Recovery
    Dr. Bridget Cantrell shares experiences and insights. A large portion of this session includes questions, answers, and discussion with the audience. Attendance at both PTSD sessions not required.

  • 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm: Session II, Choice B
    Deployment and Family Readiness
    Learn how the Marine Corps' newly re-structured family readiness program impacts parents and families first-hand. Presentation conducted by a Marine Corps Family Readiness Officer (FRO).

  • 1:15 pm - 4:00 pm: Session II, Choice C
    Exhibits and Shopping
    Shop ‘til you drop all afternoon or just stop by when taking a break. The EGA Store, as well as various exhibitors, will be available throughout the session.

  • 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Free Time and Preparation for Benefit Dinner
