This year, breakout sessions will focus on deployment training and readiness, warrior transitioning and recovery. Speakers, schedule and content have been finalized.

Session I: Mojave Viper Training: 1 hour, 20 minutes
Our special guest, Colonel Richard Simcock, USMC will be providing an overview of how the Corps prepares and trains your Marine for combat and deployment. Slideshows will accompany the information-packed presentation.

Session II, Choice A: What is PTSD: 1 hour, 20 minutes
Dr. Bridget C. Cantrell will highlight the causes and symptoms of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) as it impacts our Marines. Informative slide show to accompany presentation.

Session II, Choice B: Deployment Discussion Panel: 1 hour, 20 minutes
Learn how the Marine Corps' newly has re-structured family readiness program impacts parents first-hand. Denise Cullum, Family Readiness Officer for 7th Marine Regiment out of Twentynine Palms, California and Karen Gough, Family Readiness Officer for I MEF out of Camp Pendleton, California will be presenting.

Session III: Warrior Transitioning and PTSD Discussion Panel: 2 hours
Dr. Bridget Cantrell and Lt Colonel Jay Kopleman, USMC (Retired) will share experiences and insights. A large portion of this session will include questions, answers, and discussion with the audience.

Session IV: Marine Parents and You: 30 Minutes
