We are happy to announce that we will be participating at the wonderful MARINEPARENTS.COM conference in Houston from April 21-23, 2006. Come visit our exhibit booth on Saturday where you will be able to see clips from the movie.

But the Big News is that the Award winning Documentary MY CHILD-MOTHERS OF WAR will have its Texas Premiere at the MarineParents.com Conference on April 23rd at 3:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Admission is $10 and is separate from any conference fees. Limited seating available. Please arrive early.

WHAT IS THIS FILM ABOUT
My Child: Mothers of War is a groundbreaking documentary that focuses entirely on the mothers of our American Soldiers serving in Iraq.

No film has previously delved so deeply into the psyche of the mothers whose children are serving their country. And through their testimonies—discussing the disconcerting days and sleepless nights, the ecstatic joy of a phone call or the exultation of a simple e-mail—the stakes of sending our sons and daughters off to war are redefined, as are their sacrifices. Mothers of varying backgrounds and beliefs will have their experiences shared to expose the common thread of motherhood and sacrifice that serves the backbone of this film.

Nearly 200,000 mothers have watched their child go off to war since the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. Some of them have supported their child’s patriotic service and sacrifice with pride, while others have condemned the war. But all of these mothers—regardless of their political sentiment or affiliation—share a common connection: the unmistakable longing for their child’s safety and the powerlessness they feel for an inability to protect and shelter them any longer.
